The 2023 IPL season is scheduled from March 31, 2023 till May 28, 2023. It comprises of 10 teams and will feature 74 matches (70 league matches, 2 quarterfinals, 1 eliminator and 1 final).

Eden Gardens | Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, it is the oldest stadium in India and has a seating capacity of 66,000 spectators. It is operational since 1864. |
Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium | Located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, it has a seating capacity of 23,000 spectators. It was established in 2003. |
M. Chinnaswamy Stadium | Located in Bangalore, Karnataka, it has a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators. It was established in 1969. |
MA Chidambaram Stadium | Located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, it has a seating capacity of 50,000 spectators. It is operational since 1916. |
Narendra Modi Stadium | Located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, it the largest stadium in the world and has a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators. Formerly known as Motera Stadium, it was established in 1983. It was closed in 2015 and completely rebuilt in 2020. |
Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium | Located in Mohali, Chandigarh, it has a seating capacity of 27,000 spectators. It was established in 1993. |
Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium | Located in Hyderabad, it has a seating capacity of 55,000 spectators. It was established in 2004. |
Sawai Mansingh Stadium | Located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, it has a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators. It was established in 1969. |
Wankhede Stadium | Located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, it has a seating capacity of approx. 30,000 spectators. It was established in 1974. |
